About the PP13 Power Plant project
This 1,800MW plant is being constructed in Dhurma, about 140 kilometres west of Riyadh, next to the existing PP12 plant. Its purpose is to increase the power capacity in the region and is constructed in several major packages. The project is estimated for completion in 2021.
Challenges & solutions
CDI Experts were retained by Worley and Saudi Electricity Company to provide claims advisory, contractual, delay and quantum analyses of Contractor claims across several packages of work.
Our analyses helped to show that Contractors delay, disruption and cost claims were almost entirely unfounded.
We continue to provide support to the project management team as the project enters the final commissioning phase.
